Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to London!
Meet your Tour Director upon arrival at your hotel. Free time this afternoon before a welcome dinner, followed by a private, narrated cruise on the Thames River.

Day 2: The Royal Treatment
Morning sightseeing with a Local Guide includes sights of the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall, the Prime Minister’s Downing Street residence, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, and a visit to St. Paul’s Cathedral. The remainder of the day is free to explore England’s capital city.
Optional Tour: Tower of London and Crown Jewels
From the opulent Crown Jewels to the uniformed Beefeaters and infamous ravens, this fascinating excursion introduces you to the Tower of London, one of the country's most famous castle fortresses.

Day 3: On the Town in London
London puts the choice firmly in your hands. Step into history at the British Museum, soar above the city on the London Eye, or soak up the energy of Covent Garden with its boutiques, street performers, and café-lined piazzas. As evening falls, the city truly shines—enjoy dinner and a West End show near Piccadilly Circus, where bright lights, big stages, and classic London buzz deliver an unforgettable night out.

Day 4: Country Charm & Classmates
Set out for an exciting day of sightseeing. In Stratford-upon-Avon, visit Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall and see where one of the world’s greatest playwrights was educated. There’s time to enjoy free time in this Elizabethan town before a drive through the picturesque villages and idyllic rolling landscapes of the Cotswolds. The final highlight is a walking tour through the university city of Oxford, viewing colleges and dreaming spires!

Day 5: Stone Temples & Time Travel
Today’s excursion brings you to mysterious Stonehenge. Explore the visitor center, then take the shuttle to the stone circle and admire this fascinating monument up close. On to the medieval cathedral city of Salisbury for some free time before returning to London.

Day 6: Leisurely Day in London Town
Your final day in London gives you even more time to enjoy this endlessly fascinating city—at your own pace. Spend the day exploring independently, whether that means shopping at iconic Harrods, strolling through historic neighborhoods, or taking a relaxing boat ride along the River Thames for a fresh perspective on the city’s landmarks.
Or, choose to join an optional guided excursion to Windsor Castle—the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world and one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. For nearly 1,000 years, Windsor has been home to British kings and queens, offering an unforgettable glimpse into royal history and tradition.

About Your Group Trip Coordinator
Margo McDonough started Blue Skies Travel Center in 2016, after earlier work in the travel industry for such companies as J.P. Morgan Chase. She has planned and escorted numerous trips, both domestically and internationally, for local organizations, including University of Delaware’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Food Bank of Delaware, Kennett Area Community Service, and Traditions at Longwood community.
McDonough is a member of the American Society of Travel Advisors, is fully insured, and is supported by host agency Uniglobe Travel Center and Virtuoso, a luxury travel consortium.
